Jenna and Dennis Ridgeway opened their first JJ’s Hallmark in January of 1982, on the corner of Quincy and Buckley in Aurora.   Since then, the JJ’s chain expanded with stores in 5 major cities throughout Colorado including the former Southglenn Mall in Centennial and various locations in Aurora, Parker, Littleton and Castle Rock.

Naming their stores after Jenna’s maiden name initials, the couple has always maintained a very personal involvement in the business, the lives of their employees and the desires of their customers.  Every year they travel to various gift shows in Chicago, Atlanta and other cities, seeking out the hottest new products to stock the shelves. During  many of the early years, Dennis could be seen at the annual Christmas open houses donning a Santa outfit and handing out popcorn.

Jenna and Dennis live in Littleton with their two dogs.  When they’re not conducting wedding invitation training seminars, lugging heavy fixtures around town, or transferring product between stores,  they enjoy tennis, golf and traveling to visit their 2 daughters and grandchildren.

Littleton Manager - Michelle

Littleton Manager  – Michelle has been the manager at our Littleton store for 3 years.  She has been with us since 2001 initially as a sales associate then for 6 months as assistant manager.  Michelle is married with 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  Her patience, friendly smile and easy manner makes the atmosphere at JJ’s an easy but professional place to both work and shop.

Castle Rock Manager - Vicki

Castle Rock  Manager -Vicki joined the staff at the Castle Rock  JJ’s Hallmark

in June of 2006.  A year later she was promoted to Assistant Manager and in August of 2008 she accepted the position of manager of that store.  Vicki is married and has 2 sons and a very sweet dog.  Her warm smile and quiet yet attentive manner make her a favorite with both employees and customers alike.

Parker Manager Cheryl

Parker Manager- Cheryl became a member of the JJ’s team in 2003 at the old Southglenn Mall.  After a year as a sales associate, she was promoted to Assistant Manager.  In March of 2006, she was transferred to the Parker store, where she continued as Assistant Manager until Feb. of 2008.  Cheryl was promoted to manager because of her selling and organizational skills.  She has a great following of customers who find her personal attention to their needs, most refreshing.  Her loyal staff, amiable manner and pleasant personality create a store atmosphere that makes shopping fun.  Cheryl is married and has 3 children.
